About Wilma

Meet Wilma! Wilma is a resilient, loving girl with an incredible story. Found abandoned with her puppies after having been shot in the leg, she has overcome so much. Sadly, her injury was too severe to save her leg, and now she thrives as a happy tripod. Don't let her three legs fool you—nothing slows Wilma down! At around 5 years old and 73 pounds, Wilma is sweet and active, yet she knows how to enjoy a good nap, too. She's a bit overweight, so a family that enjoys walks and playtime will help her get back to her ideal weight. Wilma is heartworm negative and protected with ProHeart. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves people. She gets excited and tends to jump up to say hello, so older children would be a better fit for her. Since she hasn't been around cats, we can't say for sure how she would do with them. Having already overcome so much, Wilma just needs a family to love her forever. She shows that life can still be full of joy and second chances after hardship. Your adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, current heartworm prevention, and microchip. Adoptions take place at the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township, PA. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
