About Alpha

Alpha is a friendly young dog who has spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel. He has a beautiful fawn coat, natural ears, and a docked tail. This playful guy is a bit rambunctious and would benefit from basic obedience classes. Socialization is key for him; he needs exposure to walks, car rides, and the hustle and bustle of daily life rather than the chaos of dog parks. Following guidance from a well-known behaviorist, such as Patricia B. McConnell, can help with his adjustment. Alpha gets along well with other dogs and people, though caution is advised around children due to his large size. We are unsure how he interacts with cats. He is up to date on vaccinations but is not yet neutered. A $500 refundable deposit is required in addition to the $500 adoption fee, which will be returned upon proof of neutering. If you're interested in welcoming Alpha into your life, please submit an application at abrl.org. You’ll hear from us once your application is received.
