Tawny is a sweet and affectionate young cat in search of her forever home. She arrived at ASR from a small rural animal control, initially protective of her kittens. Now that her mothering duties are done, it’s her time to shine. Estimated to be about 2 years old and weighing only 7 lbs, Tawny is petite but has a feisty personality. She loves to cuddle and enjoys being close to her foster mom. Though she is affectionate, Tawny can be a bit shy and needs some time to trust new people. Ideally, she would thrive in a calm home environment where she can feel safe. Tawny does not get along with children, and while we are unsure how she’d react to other cats or dogs, any new pets should respect her space.
