Benny is wonderful with children, gets along well with other dogs, and is showing great progress in house training. This affectionate dog is waiting to find a loving home where he can snuggle up and share his playful spirit!
About Benny
Benny is a fun-loving 1-year-old Hound who weighs 45 pounds and is known as a total goofball by the staff. Recently, he had a sleepover with one of the volunteers and received rave reviews. Benny showed off his charming personality by not causing any household mischief and proving to be a fantastic car companion. His favorite spot to snooze is right under the covers, so if you have room in your bed, he would love to join you. He’s excellent with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs, especially during tug-of-war sessions. Benny met a resident cat too, and while he was friendly and curious, he prefers mealtimes to be a solo affair. He’s currently perfecting his leash walking and is quickly catching on to house training with a routine. Benny may be a little wary of cyclists zooming by, but he’s always eager to meet people and make new friends. Benny is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. If you need a sweet and loyal companion in your life, Benny is ready to cuddle and play!
