When Archie first arrived, the world felt overwhelming, resulting in some noticeable anxiety. With a bit of patience and kindness from his caregivers, he gradually found his confidence. He may take a moment to warm up to new people, but once he senses safety, he becomes an affectionate companion. His love for kids is evident, and he enjoys the company of other dogs, preferring to meet them in a calm manner rather than through barriers. Archie walks well on a leash and is house trained, although he thrives on a consistent routine to regain his footing. He does, however, need a home without chickens or other small birds, given his hound instincts. His health is in great shape: he’s neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
