About Petal
Meet Petal! Petal may be petite, but she’s full of personality in her tiny tuxedo body. At just five months old, she’s smaller than most kittens her age, which adds to her undeniable charm. With her unique facial markings and playful quirks, Petal can bring a smile to anyone's face. Affectionate to her core, Petal loves being close to her people. Her purring is constant, and she prioritizes snuggles and socializing with everyone. This fearless little kitten loves playing and exploring and has already made friends with both cats and dogs. If there's fun happening, she’s in on it. Petal’s journey hasn't been typical. After showing unusual symptoms as a young kitten, she was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). Fortunately, FIP is now treatable, and Petal has completed an 84-day course of antiviral medication, and she’s thriving. Though she may have a few mild neurological quirks from her condition—sometimes getting turned around or momentarily confused—these traits only add to her charm. They don’t stop her from enjoying life, playing, and cuddling. She’s looking for someone who can appreciate her unique personality and provide a loving home. Known affectionately as “Busy Dizzy” by her foster mom, Petal is always on the go, even if she takes the scenic route sometimes. She and her friend Elora are currently in foster care together, getting along fabulously. Petal is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for her forever home in Lafayette, CO. Don't miss out on this sweet, funny companion. Apply now!
