Meet Coco, your future adventure buddy! Police Officer Coco is a spayed female Papillon, around 6 years old and currently weighing 12 pounds. Ideally, she'd like to shed a pound or two. She's very social with other dogs, but if they get a bit too wild, she feels the need to take charge. When it comes to cats, Coco tends to obsess over them, so a feline-free home would be best! She's great with older, respectful kids but prefers to avoid tiny tots. Coco dreams of being the only pet in a home where someone active can take her on walks and share adventures — she loves car rides! While she enjoys your company, she’s independent and prefers staying close rather than being a lap dog. Her personality strikes a balance between energetic and chill, and she’s only noisy when she has something to alert you to. Coco is house trained and crate trained, and she’s impressively quiet in her crate. She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands like sit, down, and come, though that recall may waver when small creatures are around. She does have a little quirk after drinking; she has a dramatic hack due to an elongated soft palate, but it rarely bothers her.
