Meet Fritters! Fritters is a 7-year-old English Bulldog who weighs around 45 lbs. This sweet, loving girl is spayed, house-trained, and crate-trained. Fritters adores being close to her person and would thrive best in a home where someone is around most of the day to provide companionship. She loves to cuddle and is very food-motivated, making her eager to please and learn commands. Fritters is fantastic with people and children of all ages. She’s great with cats but prefers to be the only dog in the home as she has had some trouble with larger, high-energy dogs, like Huskies. She does experience some separation anxiety and may bark occasionally, so a home where someone can be present most of the day would suit her best. Fritters has a unique medical history as she is missing her left eye and requires ongoing care for her remaining right eye, including prescription ointments. Her adopter should keep in mind her brachycephalic features, which may present challenges such as narrowed nostrils and upper-airway noise. Additionally, after a mammary mass removal, future monitoring is essential to guard against the potential recurrence of tumors. Her ideal home is one where she can be a cherished family member, ideally without other large or high-energy dogs but compatible with cats.
