About Boston

Meet Boston, a 4-year-old Silver Lab weighing 120 pounds, who exudes love and tenderness. His calm and gentle nature makes him one of the sweetest souls you'll ever encounter. Despite a tough start in life, Boston shines bright. Affectionate and primarily happy when he's near his loved ones, he thrives in a relaxed home environment. Boston is blind in his right eye and has limited vision in his left due to juvenile cataracts. Though he can no longer have surgery to restore his sight, he adapts quickly to new environments. With a little guidance, he navigates around obstacles during walks and feels comfortable in his surroundings once he's gotten to know them. Currently, Boston requires daily prescription eye drops and quarterly checkups with an ophthalmologist to manage his eye health. He also came to the rescue with some skin issues, which are improving with proper care. His new family should be ready for some ongoing maintenance to help him feel his best. What Boston truly needs is a loving family that appreciates him as he is. He may have limited sight, but he'll learn your voice, your movements, and where his favorite napping spot is. To keep him safe, a securely fenced yard is ideal for his forever home. Boston is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained. Are you ready to welcome this gentle giant into your life?
