About Nugget

Meet Nugget, your future furry companion who looks a bit like a real-life version of Courage the Cowardly Dog! His adorable expression might suggest he's always anxious, but don’t be fooled. Nugget is a playful and loving little guy, eager to be by your side. Nugget joined us after being surrendered by his previous owner due to a job change, and now he’s ready for a fresh start in a forever home. He thrives as a true companion—whether it's snuggling in bed, following you around the house, or just ensuring he knows your every move. If you want a little shadow, Nugget is more than happy to take on that role! A miniature neighborhood watch, he’ll alert you when someone’s at the door, then return to his favorite activities, like playing with his toys. Speaking of toys, he absolutely loves them and would consider a basket full of playthings a dream gift. Nugget gets along well with dogs of his size and enjoys the company of other four-legged friends. Ultimately, though, what he craves most is being close to his human. His little face might ask, "Are we going to be okay?" but all he truly needs is someone to say, "Yes, you’re home." If you're looking for a funny, affectionate, and playful companion, Nugget could be your perfect match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
