He might be a Cocker Spaniel or Shih Tzu mix, but one thing's for sure—he's adorable. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Elliott missed out on many everyday experiences that most dogs take for granted. Now, he's ready for someone special to show him the world. Elliott is incredibly sweet and has so much love to give. He's good with other dogs and would flourish in a home where he can gain confidence at his own pace. At this point, he doesn’t know how to walk on a leash and needs a patient family willing to help him learn how to be a "normal" dog. A securely fenced yard will be essential for him to enjoy the outdoors safely while he builds those skills. Trust is crucial for Elliott, and he will need time to warm up to humans. With love, consistency, and understanding, he can learn that people can be kind and that he is finally safe. After spending enough of his life just getting by, Elliott deserves a quiet, loving home to relax, learn, and experience all the wonderful things he has missed.
