About Clifford

Meet Clifford, affectionately known as Red. This lovable, medium-sized pup is a 4-year-old pittie mix and has quite the story, having been with us for almost two years after we rescued him from a Florida shelter devastated by the 2024 hurricanes. Despite his prolonged stay, he remains a bright ray of sunshine, always happy and full of spirit. Red is house trained and well-mannered, spending his days playing in the yard, going for walks, and soaking up all the attention from staff members. He gets along well with other dogs but shows a preference for females, whether canine or human. With a little patience for introductions, he can make friends with nearly everyone. Red adores stuffed toys and loves to snuggle on the couch, especially with his favorite ladies. His adoption fee has been waived, meaning the only hurdle between him and a loving home is finding the right family. We promised Clifford that the rest of his life would be the best part of it. Could that life be with you? Click apply to start the adoption process.
