Meet Samantha! Samantha is an adorable Chihuahua/Pug mix, often referred to as a Chug. She's estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighs about 14 pounds. Life before her rescue remains a mystery, but it's apparent that she has faced challenges that have left her timid and shy. Initially, Samantha might cower or avoid interaction when entering a new space. With time, and once she realizes she is safe, she starts to emerge from her shell and seeks affection. This sweet girl is dog friendly, so having a playful companion could really help build her confidence. She also gets along with cats. Keep in mind, she requires a secure yard since apartments aren't suitable for her. While she isn't currently leash trained, she will go outside to potty with someone by her side. Samantha is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can take her time to adjust.
