About Milo
Meet Milo! This 4-year-old fellow is on the hunt for a new home where he can enjoy plenty of space to play, explore, and show off his frisbee skills. Milo delights in treats, loves car rides, and is a beach enthusiastāheāll even wade into the water up to his shoulders! This energetic guy knows several commands, including sit, roll over, and lay down, although heās been particularly fond of showing off his jumping skills at the shelter. Milo is housebroken and kennel trained, and he handles baths and vet visits like a champ. He has an amusing habit of carrying shoes around the house, but donāt worryāhe doesnāt chew them. Heās also been known to counter surf if food is involved, so keeping snacks out of reach might be wise! On walks, Milo does well on the leash but can pull when he spots another dog. While he has lived with two other dogs, heās shown food-related aggression before, so a proper introduction and feeding separately are crucial. His previous home had a fenced yard, but he figured out how to jump it. His new family will need to be vigilant about keeping him containedāespecially since he can be quite the escape artist. Most importantly, Milo needs a home without small children. This smart, playful, and adventurous dog is ready to find a family who will appreciate him for all he is.
