Asher Blue is a remarkable 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, found in a vulnerable state but now in the care of a loving foster. He was discovered lying on a hillside, scared and injured, likely from being hit by a car. After extensive surgery to repair a fractured hip, he's now on the mend and gaining strength each day. Despite the pain he endured, Asher Blue has an incredible spirit and continues to seek love and comfort from those around him. In foster care, Asher Blue has shown that he is house trained and gentle, especially when it comes to taking treats. He enjoys exploring the yard and is learning that the world can be a safe place. While he tolerates dogs, formal introductions have not happened yet due to his recovery. However, it is clear that he cannot be around cats. This sweet boy is still learning to trust, so he would thrive in a patient home that understands he needs time to blossom into his true self.
