About AL Abernath

Meet AL Abernath, a charming cat who has transformed from a feral life into a cozy indoor companion. At about a year old, he has adjusted remarkably well, and is now looking for his forever home where he can truly thrive. Abernath is a loyal and somewhat clingy friend, eager to bond with his special person. He may take a bit of time to feel fully comfortable, but once he does, you can expect to have a delightful lap companion by your side. With his playful spirit, Abernath excels at hunting toy mice, showcasing his natural instincts. It’s important for his future family to note that he can get overstimulated and may swat or nip if he feels overwhelmed. Because of this, a home with older kids who understand cat behavior would be ideal. Sadly, he doesn’t get along with other cats or dogs, so he would prefer to be the only pet. To keep him entertained, a sunny perch by the window would be perfect for bird watching. Abernath is up to date with his vaccinations, microchipped, and reliably uses his litter box. If you’re ready to provide him with a loving home, please fill out an adoption application.
