Meet Dolly! Dolly is a gentle soul, a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua/Shepherd mix, weighing around 25 pounds. Having spent most of her life as a stray, she was found living in an abandoned house with her four tiny babies, and thankfully, all were brought to safety. Dolly still carries the nervousness of her past and will need a patient family to help her understand that she's finally in a safe place. Though shy at first, she warms up beautifully. Once you earn her trust, Dolly will show you an immeasurable love. Her sweet, gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion. She’s great with children and other dogs, and she has a heart full of potential waiting to blossom with the right family. Dolly has survived her toughest days, and now she is ready to find her forever home where she will never have to feel scared again. If you’re looking for a loyal companion willing to grow alongside you, Dolly may be the perfect match. Transport is available! Dolly is currently being fostered in Brownsville, Texas, but can travel to her forever home through our bi-weekly transport program.
