Now, at around one year old, this healthy 45-pound boy is looking for a new home. He is mostly deaf, which adds a unique challenge, so experience with deaf dogs would be a plus, though it's not mandatory. Freckles has previously enjoyed snuggling and playing with his dog brother, even cohabitating with two cat sisters—though one of the cats was a reason for his return to rescue. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs and children. While he does not get along with cats, he is ready for a fresh start in a loving environment where he can thrive.
