NCI Dandelion is a unique female cat currently at the Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY. While her name suggests a sweet nature, she’s more of a bold spirit—definitely not your typical cuddly companion. She was transferred from another shelter, coming in with her sister, who has already found her forever home. Dandelion is a bit feisty and takes her time warming up to people, preferring independence over constant affection. Since arriving, she’s shown signs of curiosity and comfort, indicating that she can flourish given the right environment. Dandelion needs a patient and understanding adopter, someone comfortable with a cat who may not always seek out snuggles. If you believe in giving every cat a chance, and you’re willing to provide a stable home, she might just be the resilient and quiet companion you’ve been searching for. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
