H Ellie has come a long way since being rescued as a stray kitten. Initially wary of humans, she took her time to trust, and now she’s a sweet, affectionate companion. Ellie relishes being petted and loves curling up on the laps of those she trusts, but it might take some time for her to warm up to new faces. This intelligent cat thrives on stimulation; her favorite pastimes include solving treat puzzles and playing with toys. Ellie has quickly picked up clicker training and is eager to learn. It's important that her new family commits to providing daily enrichment activities to keep her engaged and happy. While Ellie has made significant progress, her sensitivity means she'll do best in a home with someone who understands feline body language and knows when to give her space in moments of fear or overwhelm.
