This baby boy is currently in Andover, MA, and while he is not yet house trained, he is eager to learn. He will be neutered before adoption and is up to date on vaccinations.
About Mackerel Seagull
Meet Mackerel Seagull, a charming 12-week-old Beagle/Coonhound mix who's currently in transit from Tennessee to New England. He'll arrive shortly with no extra travel costs for his future family. Mackerel and his siblings were surrendered by owners who didn’t want them; out of 14 puppies, he’s one of the lucky few to survive. His mom is a Coonhound, and his dad was a stray who found his way into her kennel. Mackerel is a sweet, slightly cautious boy who loves the company of people. He enjoys exploring, but feels most secure when he knows where his “safe” humans are. This playful pup is quite talkative, often heard among his siblings as they excitedly exclaim, "Mine! Mine! Mine!" When he isn’t searching for clownfish, Mackerel enjoys playing with other dogs and being around children. Though they haven't met any cats yet, he’s eager to learn. Mackerel will be neutered before adoption and is currently learning how to use a dog door—much easier than a beach cleanup! He’s up to date on vaccinations and is ready to find his forever home.
