About Clifford

Meet Clifford, affectionately known as Red, the real Big Red Dog! At 4 years old, this handsome pit bull mix has spent nearly 2 years waiting for a loving family. Rescued from a rural Florida shelter devastated by the 2024 hurricanes, he is now the longest resident at our center. Clifford is housetrained and well-mannered, radiating happiness wherever he goes. He enjoys his days playing in the yard, going for walks, and soaking up attention from his favorite staff. While Red gets along with other dogs, he seems to prefer female company, and with proper introductions, he can warm up to almost anyone. He loves his stuffy toys and cozying up on the couch. Best of all, his adoption fee is waived, meaning he’s ready to find his perfect family! We promised Clifford a wonderful life moving forward. Could you be his forever home? Ready to take that step?
