While he loves being pet, he has some preferences—he enjoys pets and scratches but prefers to keep his lower back and hind legs untouched, so an adopter who respects his boundaries is essential. Outgoing by nature, he charms guests and demands his share of affection. He thrives in lively households and gets along well with kids, cats, dogs, and even parrots. Scooter is particularly fond of the two teenagers in his foster home, who help him with weekly baths. Due to his mobility differences, Scooter has specific needs.
