Mama Ru is a wonderful cat who arrived at the shelter after caring for seven kittens. She did a great job raising them first in a shed and then in a foster home. Now that her kittens have found their forever homes, it’s her turn to shine. Mama Ru is adjusting to shelter life but clearly prefers the comfort of a loving home. This medium-sized tabby enjoys her alone time, content to bask in the sun or lounge on a bed. However, when she wants affection—around an hour each day—she becomes incredibly loving and affectionate, making her feel like a true companion. Mama Ru prefers that her boundaries are respected, so she needs an understanding adopter who will give her the time to settle in.
