Meet Cash! Blessed Paws Animal Rescue is excited to introduce sweet little Cash to everyone! He’s a 5-month-old Chihuahua mix, weighing just 6 lbs. 11 oz. Cash was rescued from a backyard breeder, where he lived in a filthy outdoor pen. Despite this rough beginning, he’s learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Cash adores playing with his sister! Due to his small size, he hasn’t had many chances to meet other dogs yet. He does bark when he sees other dogs from his crate, so his future family will need some patience to help him adjust. He is making excellent progress with potty training, though he can be a bit shy and timid. Cash is a gentle soul who has never shown any signs of aggression. This little guy needs a family that understands he’s still a baby exploring the world. He will thrive with someone patient who can help build his confidence, take him outside carefully, and gradually teach him to walk on a leash. Currently, Cash is not fully vaccinated, so he cannot go on public walks just yet. He will need access to a private, safe potty area until he's fully vaccinated. If you live in an apartment, a plastic potty tray with artificial grass is a great option! Cash has come such a long way, and we believe he will blossom into an incredible companion with the right family.
