Meet Bert. Once upon a time, Bert had a wonderful owner who adored him. Unfortunately, she had to move into assisted living and could no longer care for him. As a result, Bert spent far too long alone, confined to a room without companionship. You'd never guess, though. Despite his past, Bert is filled with love. He craves snuggles, seeks out affection, and simply wants to be by your side. All he's searching for is a forever home with cozy blankets and kind hearts to share his life with. Though Bert is a bit skittish around dogs, he gets along well with other cats. He has undergone extensive dental work and only has two teeth left—but don’t let that fool you; it doesn't slow him down! Bert is FIV-positive, but with regular veterinary care, cats with FIV can lead long, fulfilling lives. If you're ready for a gentle soul who has so much love to offer, Bert is eager to meet you.
