Sky is a sweet and gentle Australian Shepherd mix currently being fostered in Danvers, MA. At around a year old and weighing 35 pounds, she’s petite yet has a big heart. Sky is fully house-trained and has excellent house manners, making her a wonderful candidate for apartment living. When she’s not exploring or keeping her foster family company, she enjoys being relaxed in her crate. This charming girl gets along well with other dogs and children, and she’s a great travel companion. While she’s still perfecting her playful manners, she occasionally barks when she gets too excited during play. With continued socialization, she can learn to keep her excitement in check. Sky had her start in Texas and is ready to find a foster-to-adopt family in the northern states. This means you’ll have a couple of weeks to see how well you all fit together. If she doesn’t turn out to be your perfect match, her rescue will assist in finding her a new forever home.
