About Thistle

Meet Thistle, the queen of puddles! This 3-year-old, 51-pound American Bulldog mix is as sweet as they come. She's wonderfully potty trained, never one to make a mess in her kennel. Thistle's intelligence shines through; she already knows how to sit and give her paw but is eager to learn even more. Her true passion? Puddles. Thistle adores her walks, especially when rain creates little lakes for her to splash through. When out and about, she’ll bypass the usual route for a sprint right through every puddle. When she's not on splash duty, Thistle loves settling into her comfy bed, snuggling with her stuffies, and going on adventures with her dog friends. She's great with other dogs but unfortunately doesn't get along with cats. This lively girl can be jumpy and is a heavy puller on the leash, so she needs someone who will continue to work with her on leash manners. But overall, she's the best companion: sweet, silly, and ready to make you smile.
