About Aunt May Pawrker

Aunt May Pawrker is a sweet and silly young Chihuahua, likely under 2 years old. She needs a gentle home that understands the sensitivities of shy chihuahuas as she learns the world can be a good place. Initially timid, Aunt May is still getting used to sudden movements and quick approaches. While a leash or harness currently makes her freeze, she’s gradually working through these challenges. The ideal home for Aunt May would have someone who is home often—perhaps someone who works remotely or is retired. This loving girl thrives in the company of other dogs, especially her foster brother, and she would benefit from having a canine friend to help her feel secure. Although she’s had a rough start, her adorable personality shines through during her happy moments, and she adores neck scratches. Aunt May’s progress has been remarkable. She's learning to trust and is ready to receive affection once she feels safe. While still apprehensive, she’s shown great strides in her confidence. She remains pretty clean around the house and doesn't chew on things outside of the occasional mishap with potty pads. We are looking for an adopter who understands that building trust takes time. If you are patient and willing to help her blossom, Aunt May could be the perfect companion for you. To adopt, a detailed application is required.
