Meet Eli, a spirited three-year-old bichon/havanese mix ready for a new home. Eli is an affectionate dog who lights up upon seeing people and walks well on a leash. His past owners noted that he’s quite "speedy" and full of life. However, Eli has an old injury affecting one eye, resulting in blindness on that side. While he's friendly, he shows some protection over high-value items like rawhides. Although he hasn't bitten, he does growl and push for more room when guarding these items. For this reason, a home with children under eight isn't suitable for him. Eli needs a firm owner who can navigate and help him overcome these behaviors.
