About Bear
Bear is a 10-week-old male who appears to be a mix of Border Collie and Australian Shepherd. Currently weighing about 13 lbs, he is expected to grow into a medium to large dog. Bear came from Oklahoma with his six siblings and has settled right in. A sweet and affectionate puppy, Bear enjoys being held and cuddled, making him a perfect companion. He plays enthusiastically with his toys and siblings and loves splashing around in a kiddie pool on warm days. While he is suitable as a single dog, Bear also gets along well with other dogs. Although he has yet to meet cats or children, he can adapt to living with them with the right introductions. Bear will need guidance with leash, kennel, and house training in his new home. He'll be available for adoption within a 30-minute radius of Des Moines after October 15 due to vetting requirements, so act quickly if you want to meet this lovable pup!
