About Chicken
Meet Chicken: A Tender Heart Learning to Trust. Chicken is a charming young adult Siamese mix who has a little secret: she’s quite shy. While she may not be the most adventurous cat, she has earned the right to take life at her own pace after all that she’s been through. When she came to the rescue, Chicken was very pregnant and needed urgent help, requiring an emergency C-section. Tragically, none of her kittens survived, but Chicken pulled through. During her recovery, she discovered that human hands can be gentle, voices can be calm, and people can indeed be trusted. Thanks to her dedicated fosters, Chicken is blossoming into a laid-back, affectionate girl. She warms up slowly, so she’ll need a quiet and patient home where someone is willing to let her take her time building trust. Although she may feel more comfortable with women, she gets along well with other cats. Because of her shy nature, busy adoption events would be overwhelming for Chicken.
