Gunther prefers a quieter home where he can relax with his people, enjoying peaceful strolls and cozy moments together. While he’s friendly with other dogs, he hasn’t yet shown much interest in playful antics, seeming a bit unsure about the concept of a lively playtime. His main goal is to be close to you and soak up all the pets you can give. At around one year old, Gunther is a mixed breed hound. He currently weighs about 55 lbs., but should reach a healthy weight of 70 lbs. He's on a steady diet and filling out nicely. Though he’s fully vetted, he has tested positive for heartworms and will need a dedicated adopter or foster in NJ willing to help him through treatment, covered by the rescue.
