About Chewey

Chewey is mourning the loss of his human mom, and now he’s looking for a new loving home. At 10 years young, this purebred Chow Chow is both handsome and sweet. Weighing in at 90 pounds, Chewey does need to lose a bit of weight, but he’s in good health overall. This gentle giant is friendly with everyone—people, children, other dogs, and even cats. He once lived with a caregiver who had to return him due to a broken elbow, but he’s ready to settle into a new family that will appreciate his calm demeanor and loyalty.
