This gentle senior Maltese mix was found in a tangled mess and has since undergone a transformation with a fresh haircut. While her beautiful fur will eventually grow back, we think her current buzz-cut is charming. Omi is settling into her new life, a bit anxious and uncertain but showing her sweet personality day by day. She needs a patient family that will give her the time to adjust and embrace her new environment. Omi is hard of hearing; she may not catch every sound, especially from a distance, but she responds to her surroundings. Her adorably wiggly hips sometimes cause her to lose her balance while trotting, so she enjoys leisurely walks rather than intense adventures. Zomi deserves a loving home with soft beds and gentle attention, and she’ll thrive in a family that truly appreciates senior pets. Currently fostered in Bryan, TX, Omi is ready for a forever home. Nationwide transport is available to the nearest major city, making it easier for families to welcome her home, no matter where they live. There is an additional transport fee of $250 through our partner, SWATT Transport.
