Meet Peaches, a lively 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with a personality that fills the room despite her tiny frame. Weighing just 10 pounds, she's the type of dog who wants to be at the center of every event happening in the home. Craving closeness, Peaches loves to snuggle under blankets or nuzzle right up next to you, making her the perfect cuddle companion. Though she may look small, don’t underestimate her; Peaches is quite the jumper! A baby gate is no challenge for this little athlete when her favorite person is on the other side. She’s still mastering the essentials of house and crate training, as well as learning appropriate play behavior. Most importantly, Peaches adores giving kisses and is learning to tone down her enthusiastic licking. She gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, making her a great addition to any family. Peaches has also shown she can coexist with cats, though she may need some supervision to ensure calm interactions. Toys are still a work in progress for her; while she finds rushes for treats easy, she’s hesitant when it comes to playtime. Peaches is eager to learn and grow in a loving environment.
