About Cato

Meet Cato, an 8-year-old Siberian Husky mix hoping to find his forever home. Having already experienced three homes due to circumstances beyond his control, Cato deserves a stable environment where he can truly feel secure. This sweet senior gentleman enjoys the company of his people and needs a family willing to be patient during loud events like thunderstorms or fireworks. Cato has lived harmoniously with two cats, but when it comes to other dogs, he can be hit or miss, so a meet-and-greet is essential before adding any canine companions. At around 70 pounds, Cato is a strong large dog who needs someone capable of providing stability, patience, and plenty of love. He has had enough transitions in life and is now looking for a family that won’t give up on him. Let’s ensure Cato’s next home is truly the one where he can settle in and feel at peace. If you're ready to offer Cato the permanent home he deserves, please reach out to Siberian Husky Rescue of New Mexico. Share his story if you can't adopt — his forever family might be just a share away.
