About Maxine
Maxine is a gentle, sweet girl looking for her forever home. She spent her entire life outdoors until a kind woman ensured she had food and shelter. Having had several litters of kittens, Maxine is now spayed and ready to enjoy the safe, comfortable indoor life she deserves. Since coming into foster care, Maxine has started to blossom. She loves being petted and is learning that being picked up can be okay, although she hasn’t had much experience with it yet. With human attention, she's becoming more comfortable and trusting every day. At times, Maxine may be a little vocal or growl when she's unsure, but there's nothing to worry about—it’s all sound and no bite. This behavior hasn’t been frequent recently, and it's likely connected to her protective instincts while caring for her kittens. With kindness and patience, Maxine has the potential to be a wonderful companion. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Now is her time to be loved, spoiled, and safe. If you're looking for a sweet girl who just needs someone willing to give her a little patience, Maxine may be the perfect cat for you.
