About Pepe tiny lovebug
Meet Pépé, a charming little lovebug who might resemble a tiny skunk at first glance. At around 12 months old and weighing about 10 pounds, he’s all about the sweetness and gentleness. Pépé has an introverted personality, preferring to take his time to observe new environments before jumping into the spotlight. Once he knows you’re his human, he’ll show his affectionate side by just wanting to be near you, maybe nestled under your desk while you work. Having come from a home with other small dogs, Pépé is comfortable around canine companions and gets along well with cats and children. He thrives alongside friendly, confident dogs that can help coax him out of his shell, but can also shine as an only dog with someone experienced and patient. On his own, he tends to seek out human companionship more actively. He doesn’t bark much, but when others do, he may join in the chorus. Pépé is crate trained, although he still struggles a little with entering his crate alone. With gentle encouragement and tasty treats, he’s learning to trust. He’s not aggressive and has no food or territorial issues; just a sweet guy looking for kindness and patience as he navigates this world. Currently, Pépé is recovering from flea dermatitis and dry skin, and his rescue is dedicated to helping him heal completely. He’s seeking a foster-to-adopt family, particularly in the northern states, where he can spend 2 to 3 weeks getting to know his new home. His journey begins soon with transport options available in Virginia, Connecticut, and Vermont. Ultimately, what Pépé desires is someone who understands quiet, gentle souls. If you’re ready to provide a safe, loving environment with tasty treats and time for bonding, he may just become your best friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
