About Pepe tiny love
Meet Pépé, a charming little guy who looks a bit like a tiny skunk with his petite frame and medium-length coat. At about 12 months old and weighing just 10 pounds, he is a delightful mix of a Dachshund and other breeds. Pépé has a gentle demeanor and tends to be on the shy side initially, preferring to observe his surroundings before jumping into the action. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality blossoms. Pépé enjoys being close to his person, often curling up beneath a desk while you work. He has been around other dogs and cats, getting along nicely with both. While he previously lived with a toddler, he may thrive best in a calm environment with an experienced adopter who understands introverted dogs. Pépé is mostly quiet, but he'll join in barking if his dog friends start it. He’s crate trained but still needs a bit of encouragement to go inside on his own. Pépé is food motivated, which is a plus for training. He’s recovering from flea dermatitis and dry skin, and his future family should be prepared to continue the care he needs to get his coat back to health. Pépé is looking for a foster-to-adopt family in the northern states. This setup allows you to see if he’s the right fit over two to three weeks, with no pressure to commit right away. Transportation runs every other weekend, with pickups in Virginia, Connecticut, and Vermont. Give Pépé the love and time he needs, and you might find that this quiet little guy becomes your closest companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
