About Kenny
Kenny is a charming little guy with a fuzzy, plush coat that’s mostly black and features sable highlights. He was surrendered with his two siblings by a family who had too many dogs to care for properly. They were overwhelmed with their adult dogs and a new baby. Thankfully, they reached out for help, and that’s where Kenny's journey begins. Though he appears big in photos, Kenny is a tiny pup who will likely grow to be on the smaller side of medium size. We suspect he’s part Australian Shepherd and Chihuahua, but with so many breeds in his lineage, it’s hard to say for sure. His future adopter should be ready for the possibility that he might be bigger or smaller than predicted. Although he’s just starting to learn about house training, he’s already making strides by using newspapers and going outside with his siblings. Kenny will thrive in an environment where he can be socialized with both people and other dogs. This is crucial for building the skills he'll need as an adult. His new family should be prepared to expose him to various stimuli, like vacuum cleaners and bicycles, and arrange for playdates with different dogs. He’s already vaccinated and will need a few more shots and rabies vaccination at the adopter's expense. Kenny's adoption fee covers his required neutering at six months, which needs to be arranged with the clinic.
