About Max
Meet Max! Max is a well-mannered and affectionate boy, striking a balance between being playful and a perfect couch companion. He thrives on companionship, whether that means heading out for a walk or cuddling up for movie night. Max is happiest when he's with his people. He would do best as the only dog in the home or with other doggy siblings. Friendly and sociable, he gets along with everyone he meets. However, he has a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing lizards and rabbits, so a home without cats is ideal for him. Max loves his daily walks, plays with his toys, enjoys his favorite bones, and is content to relax by your side. He adapts to his environment, ready for a stroll when you are and just as happy to lounge afterward. With excellent manners, he eagerly responds to commands and takes treats gently. Already trained to sit, stay, watch, come, and leave it, Max walks beautifully on a leash and listens well. He’s crate trained but doesn’t need one due to his good behavior. Riding in the car is no trouble for him either, making him an easy companion for errands or weekend getaways. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who is affectionate, well-trained, and ready to join your family, Max is waiting to meet you. He’s full of love and eager to find his forever home.
