About Socks
Meet Socks. Socks is a young male Labrador Retriever mix, weighing around 50 pounds, who is just starting to understand that people can be wonderful. When he first came to the rescue, he was terrified, shying away from touch and hiding wherever he could. Now, he's blossoming into a sweet, gentle companion who really appreciates a calm environment. He enjoys the company of other dogs, gaining confidence from their presence, which makes him an excellent candidate for a home with an established, confident dog. Socks is crate trained, loves his cozy blankies, and truly lights up when praised. This journey of trust has been incredible to witness as he now eagerly accepts treats and seeks affection. Socks still needs a patient family who can provide him with routine and stability. In return, you'll welcome a loving companion into your home who is just beginning to discover the joy he has to offer. Socks is currently being fostered in Mead, Colorado. *To adopt, you must come to Colorado to meet him in person; we do not offer transport.* Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
