Meet Oliver Twist, affectionately known as Ollie! He's a charming 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix, experiencing the joy of life after a rocky start. Initially shy and hesitant in his new surroundings, Ollie has made remarkable strides thanks to the love of his foster siblings. They guided him through everything, including the doggy door and the fun of yard play, helping him shed some of his initial fears. While Ollie is still a bit timid at first, his sweetness shines through once he feels safe. He loves to be petted and readily leans in, seeking affection. His progress in just a week has been impressive; Ollie now eats comfortably around his foster siblings and enjoys peaceful nights in his kennel, patiently waiting for morning. This young pup needs a home with older, respectful children who understand the time it takes to build trust. Confident, friendly dogs in the home will be essential for Ollie's continued growth. While we don’t yet know how he interacts with cats, he’s shown he can thrive in a stable, loving environment. Ollie is on the journey to finding his forever family, a place where he can feel completely loved and secure. His gentle spirit is ready to blossom fully with the right people by his side.
