About Negro

Negro has been patiently waiting for the right person to choose him for quite some time. He first arrived at our shelter a couple of years ago and, after returning in December 2025 through no fault of his own, he’s still hoping for a loving forever home. During his recent outing, Negro truly shined outside of his kennel. He is calm, gentle, and loyal. A real sweetheart, he was wonderful with two young girls, staying close and showcasing his natural affinity for kids. Having lived with children and other dogs, he’s comfortable and easygoing in a home environment. On leash, Negro is a pleasure. He walks and runs beautifully, hardly pulling at all. In safe enclosed spaces, he remains close to his volunteer. He’s been potty trained, loves the outdoors, and enjoys water, making him an ideal companion for hiking and cuddling afterward. While around other dogs, Negro is curious and friendly, yet he maintains a calm demeanor. He’s a laid-back dog who simply desires to be with his person, whether out exploring or relaxing at home. Negro has waited long enough for a forever family. Come meet this sweet boy and see if you could be the one he's been hoping for. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
