Debbie is a 2-year-old sweetheart who may be a bit shy initially, but give her some time and you’ll discover a playful, affectionate girl with plenty of kisses to share. Once Debbie trusts you, her true personality shines through with her happy wiggle butts, delightful zoomies, and the signature “frog legs” position she strikes while lounging on the floor. This charming dog loves to play! Wrestling with her foster dog sibling, engaging in tug-of-war, chewing on toys, and sprinting around the yard are just a few of her favorites. Although she can be timid when meeting new dogs, she thrives with slow introductions. Once comfortable, she’s more than eager to play for hours. Debbie has also shown to be wonderful with young children, gently approaching toddlers she meets while out and about. Crate trained, she’s currently working on her potty training and leash skills. Busy or noisy settings can still make her a bit nervous, so Debbie would thrive in a patient home that can give her the time and support she needs to build confidence. A consistent routine, lots of enrichment, and possibly another playful dog would help her flourish.
