Her strong love of learning shines through her training. Charlie has completed 12 weeks of professional training, mastering basic cues and enjoying new tricks. She has shown remarkable improvement in impulse control and focus, although she can continue to work on her leash manners and recall, especially in stimulating environments. To ensure her comfort, Charlie needs to be the only dog in an adult-only home. While she has cohabitated with a cat, she prefers having her own space and a consistent routine. Due to her sensitive history involving corrective nipping and dog conflicts, she is unsuitable for households with children or other dogs. With careful management and boundaries, Charlie has made significant strides, becoming a loving and devoted companion. Continued positive reinforcement training will help her thrive in a new home. Her current owner is even offering to sponsor training sessions to ensure a smooth transition.
