Meet Odin! He’s a big, fluffy, and oh-so-handsome Alaskan Malamute who is also an absolute sweetheart. At three years old, this gentle giant came to us from the Fort Worth shelter, and it's hard to believe such a well-mannered dog ended up there. Odin is crate trained and potty trained, though he doesn’t need a crate as he behaves beautifully when left alone at home. He enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along wonderfully with his foster family’s two Huskies. New people? He loves meeting them too. One of his favorite pastimes is sitting on the ledge in the backyard, where he observes the world, as if he has important business to monitor. Although he walks well on a leash, this big boy can occasionally pull when something catches his eye—typical behavior for a Malamute. Odin had quite the amusing experience with a swimming pool, discovering it was bottomless after taking an accidental dip. He quickly decided that was enough aquatic fun for now.
