About Rosie in TN

Meet Rosie in TN, a cheerful two-year-old Dachshund, who brings sunshine wherever she goes. At just 11 lbs, she's perfectly petite with a striking red coat that radiates warmth and friendliness. Rosie didn’t have an easy start, but a compassionate Good Samaritan saw her potential and reached out for help. Now, she’s learning about playtime and adores socializing with both male and female dogs her size. While Rosie can feel a little overwhelmed, she thrives on attention and affection. She needs a home with a fenced yard, preferably with another small dog to help teach her the ropes of play. Rosie is house trained with a doggie door or scheduling, and she’s crate trained. Although she’s in treatment for heartworms—nothing serious—she’ll be ready to spread joy by the holidays. She gets along well with children aged 10 and up, as long as they understand to respect her space. However, she won’t be suited for apartment living. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who is eager to learn and share delightful moments, Rosie would love to meet you. Please apply today!
