About Mandy
Mandy is a charming young Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix born on April 10, 2026. While she might be a bit shy at first, she warms up beautifully once she trusts you. It’s essential for her new family to be patient, as she can feel nervous around strangers and loud environments. Mandy’s progress has been remarkable—she once retreated outside but now feels secure in her foster home, building solid bonds with those she knows. Given her past experiences, she would thrive with a family that has older children, aged 10 and up, who can understand her need for space. Socializing with new people will greatly assist her confidence growth. Mandy adores other dogs and is showing promising signs of adapting to life with cats. With continued gentle exposure, she will become more at ease. Housebreaking has been a success for Mandy, thanks to her routine. She enjoys lounging with her foster family and can stay in her crate without issue. Being a playful pup, she still has a tendency to chew and can climb baby gates with ease. Mandy’s intelligence is one of her standout features. She thrives on mental stimulation and an active lifestyle—think walks, hikes, training, and puzzles! Though she has a zest for activity, she balances it with a sweet temperament when with trusted companions. Experience with shepherd breeds would be beneficial, but most importantly, Mandy needs a loving home committed to her growth. Are you ready to bring this lovely girl into your life?
